According to La Times, more than 50,000 musicians are owed unclaimed money. SoundExchange is a non-profit group and collects royalties on behalf of artists. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Nevada received a record-setting high of $97 million in unclaimed property funds to add to the State Treasury.
