Los Angeles Times Reports: States suing federal government for unclaimed war bonds

Yesterday the Los Angeles Times reported on almost $17 Billion in certificates (war bonds) that have not been cashed in. Reportedly six states are suing the Treasury Department saying that the states should get the money and try to at least attempt to find the bondholders and their descendants.
